Casablanca Imperial Cities Tour 10 Days

Enjoy Casablanca Imperial Cities and explore the four imperial cities of Morocco, Meknes, Fez, Rabat, and Marrakech. Spend a great time in the desert, where you will have camel trekking, spend a night in the camp, eat delicious Berber meals, and also visit the surrounded areas like Dades Gorges, Ziz Valley, Ait Ben Haddou, etc.

Itinerary

Day 1 Casablanca – Rabat (Casablanca Imperial Cities)

In the morning, we will take breakfast, followed by a short walk in the economic capital of Morocco, visiting Hassan II Mosque and the Kasbah, and then to Rabat where you’ll stay the night. Rabat is the capital of the kingdom, known for leather production, and its old medina ramparts; we will see Udayas Kasbah, the Royal Palace, Hassan II Tower, and Mausoleum Mohamed V.

Day 2 Rabat- Meknes- Volubilis – Fes (Casablanca Imperial Cities)

In the morning, we will travel to Meknes, to visit the famous Bab El Mansour, and Bab Khmiss gates, the sacred site of pilgrimage “Moulay Idriss Zerhoun”, and the Roman ruins of Volubilis. We continue to Fez, to take a delicious dinner before check-in in a hotel to stay a night.

Day 3 Fes “Guided Tour”

At Fes, you will visit the old medina which is full of traditional shops of clothes, crafts, variety of foods and many other things to see there. You will take lunch, and then continue to see Bou Inania Medersa, Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, The oldest University of Al Quaraouiyine, and the souks.

Day 4 Fes – Azrou Cedar forests – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

We will depart toward the middle Atlas mountain villages to reach Merzouga desert. We will first see the Switzerland of Morocco “Ifran”, the cedar forests of Azrou to watch Barbary Macaque and feed them, and to Midelt to take lunch. Before arriving at Merzouga desert to stay a night, we will pass by Errachidia, Erfoud, Rissani, and the panoramic Ziz valley.

Day 5 Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Dunes (Casablanca Imperial Cities)

After having breakfast, we will have a ride in the Sahara Desert, visiting “Khamlia”, this is a village of the black “Gnaoua”, who brought from Sudan, in order to visit their workplace, and listen to their unique music. Then, we will visit Erfoud (known for fossil production), Rissani to have a delicious lunch of the Berber Pizza “Medfouna”. After lunch, you will have an exciting camel trekking to reach Erg Chebbi high Dunes, you will see the sunset, drink a cup of Moroccan mint tea, and have dinner while Berbers playing music with their drums. We will spend the night in the Berber yurts.

Day 6 Merzouga –Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Make sure to wake up early to see wonderful scenery of the sun rising over the dunes, changing its color. After breakfast, we will have a couple of hour’s camel trekking, before going to Tinghir, Todra Gorges to have lunch, and then continue via Tinjedad, Todra valley, to have a ride over the gardens, and the river, and the Dades Valley to Dades Gorges where we are going to stay the night.

Day 7 Dades Gorges – Kelaat M’gouna – Ouarzazate

After taking your breakfast, a short ride in the gorges, and then continue to the valley of roses at Kelaat M’gouna, this valley is known for producing and selling the locally handmade creams, soaps, and oils from the extract of the roses, and visit Skoura and Amridil Kasbahs. Ouarzazate will be your last stop for the day where you’ll spend your night.

Day 8 Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech (Casablanca Imperial Cities)

In the morning, we will visit Taourirt Kasbah, and the Atlas film studios at Ouarzazate, and then continue to see Ait Ben Haddou; a UNESCO World Heritage site and a famous Kasbah in Morocco. After visiting the Kasbah, and having lunch, we will also visit another Kasbah, called “Telouet Kasbah”, and from here to Marrakech to stay the night via the high Atlas.

Day 9 Marrakech Sightseeing

Today is dedicated to exploring the red city of Marrakech, visiting the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque. We will take lunch, and then continue to spend the afternoon in Jemaa El Fna square, in which there are storytellers, snake charmers, orange juice, variety of food, and more. We will take dinner in a restaurant before going back to the hotel to stay the night there.

Day 10 Marrakech – Casablanca

After having breakfast, we will ride to Casablanca ending our tour, where our driver will drive you wherever you want.
